Overview
The AMG EQE 53 is Mercedes-AMG’s performance electric sedan — the application of AMG engineering and calibration to the EQE platform. Where the standard EQE 300 is a refined business tool, the AMG 53 is tuned for driver engagement: stiffer adaptive suspension, active rear-axle steering, an AMG-specific exhaust sound system (synthetic, through the speakers), and the AMG DYNAMICS modes that progressively sharpen the driving character.
The 4MATIC+ AWD system with an electric torque-vectoring rear axle produces up to 505kW in standard output. AMG Dynamic Plus configuration (optional) lifts this to 626kW, enabling the 3.3-second Race Start time.
